Education occurs when the right person says or does the right thing in the right way at the right time for the right learner... whoever that person is.

Workforce reform offers schools the chance to revisualise and remodel their workforce(s) to achieve a more fluid, creative and honest arrangement of resources around the needs and abilities of learners and teachers (at The Spiral Partnership we regard everyone who ensures a learner learns as a 'teacher'). Schools and learning centres or hubs become the matchmakers between learners and what they wish to learn, identifying with the learner the best route, means and support. Workforce remodelling is the opportunity to get this right for learners and teachers, to reduce stress for both parties and to achieve much greater levels of satisfaction and efficiency.

At The Spiral Partnership we draw on our experience as practitioners to:

  • stimulate and support individuals and schools to grasp the opportunities offered by workforce reform
  • make the most of the funding, social, pupil attainment and staff development possibilities of workforce reform
  • support the leadership and management of workforce reform with particular regard to pupils, parents/carers and other stakeholders
  • help schools make the link between workforce reform and the extended provision, personalised and lifelong learning transformation.
